Important information on the trap
These installation instructions are general instructions, which means that every installation must be
designed site-specifically and separately in cooperation with the designer and the authorities. The
design of the trap must observe section “D1 Water supply and drainage installations for buildings.
Regulations and guidelines 2007” of the National Building Code of Finland.
In order for the system to function to the best of its ability, please read this installation, use and
maintenance manual carefully and pay special attention to the following issues during installation in
order to ensure occupational safety and the proper functioning of the system:
Handle the trap carefully; do not roll or drop it.
Secure the trap carefully for transport so that it is not damaged.
Inspect the trap immediately for any damage during transport once you have reached
the installation site.
The trap must be subjected to regular inspections and maintenance measures in order
to ensure reliable, good operation. Regular maintenance also ensures the best purifying
results.
Determine the municipality’s waste management requirements for sludge management,
and act accordingly.
When performing maintenance tasks on parts in contact with wastewater, you should
pay attention to the proper protective equipment and hygiene.
In order to prevent accidents, covers must be kept in place at all times! It is always the
responsibility of the property owner to ensure that nothing or no one can fall into the
tank (children, animals, etc.)!
