9.2.2 CAS BACnet BACnet/IP Setup
See Section 4.2 to set the IP Address and subnet of the PC that will be running the CAS
Explorer.
Connect a straight through or cross Ethernet cable from the PC to ProtoNode.
In CAS Explorer, do the following:
o
Click on “
settings
”
o
Check the
BACnet/IP
box and uncheck the
BACnet
MS/TP
and
BACnet Ethernet
boxes
o
In the “Select a Network Device” box, select the network card of the PC by clicking
on it
o
Click “
Ok
”
o
On the bottom right-hand corner, make sure that the BACnet/IP box is green
o
Click on “
discover
”
o
Check all 4 boxes
o
Click “
Send
”
