Preparing the Waters TQ Detector for Operation

Rebooting the TQ Detector

Sometimes you might need to reboot the TQ Detector:

•

When the Tune window fails to respond.

•

When MassLynx fails to initialize.

•

Immediately following software download.

Rebooting the TQ Detector by pressing the reset button

Tip:

The reset button shuts down the electronics momentarily and causes the

TQ Detector to reboot.

To reboot the TQ Detector by pressing the reset button:

Open the TQ Detector’s front left door.

Press the red reset button on the top, left-hand side of the instrument.
