Silent mode (only the fan speed reduction)
This function reduces the fan speed and thus the operation sound of the
outdoor unit. Using an additional switch SW1 or a timer, this signal is sent
to the outdoor unit. The following example shows the circuit connection to
the plug contact CNDM. The operation of the outdoor unit depends on the
external operating conditions and requirements of the indoor unit, with
reduced fan speed.
11.3
Step mode (speed reduction of fan and compressor)
The step mode reduces fan and compressor speed (performance, noise
and energy consumption) in three possible levels: 0 % (off), 50 % and
75 %. The steps are selected with the DIP switches SW7-1 and SW7-2 on
the control board of the outdoor unit. Using an additional switch SW1 or
timer, this signal is sent to the outdoor unit. The following example shows
