Warning: It is recommended that filter replacement is carried out by qualified
after-sales staff. Water quality has a great influence on the life-cycle of the filters.
The lifespan of the RO membrane is affected by many factors. The table above
represents the lifespan of filters under standard conditions. In actual usage, due to
the fact that water quality may be different, the lifespan of the filters may exceed
or may be lower than the abovementioned estimates.
Filter Replacement Methods
• Replacing the in-line filters (Option 1)
First close the inlet water ball valve and unplug the power supply. Open
the front cover of the machine. Unscrew the nuts on both sides of the
old filter, and pull out the water pipe. Take out the old filter and remove
the 4044 quick connectors on both ends. Wrap each of the connector
with Teflon tap (If you have silica gel, it’s better to have a little on), then
mount onto the both ends of the new filter. Finally assemble the water
pipe back and place the filter back onto the single clip. Pay attention
to the arrow direction on the filter, and connect pipes according
to arrow indicating (left-water inlet, right-water outlet). (see diagram 17)
This data is provided for reference only. Under normal circumstances, if you witness
the following indications, you should consider replacing your filters:
• Poor water quality, taste declines, TDS value of water rises TDS value of water;
• Water flow is significantly reduced. Check to see if the filter or membrane is
blocked (determine that it was not caused by a temperature drop);
• If the filter’s outer surface is covered in mud or the filter has significantly
changed color;
• If serious filter clogging leads to no pure water flow from the water purifier.
• Replacing the quick change filters (Option 2)
First close the inlet water ball valve. Pull out the water pipes on the both
ends of the old filter cartridge. (see diagram 11, 12 for the usage
method of quick fittings). Throw away the old filter cartridges. Then
make the connection of the new inline filters on the both ends. Finally
put the filter cartridge into the big clip. Pay close attention to the arrow
on the filter cartridge and connect the filter cartridge with the water
pipes following the arrow direction, the left side is for outlet water and
the right side for inlet water.(see diagram 18).
