PROBLEM

POSSIBLE CAUSE

SOLUTION

NO FLOW
OF WATER
INTO THE CLP

Control switch not in "ON" position
a. Mode switch turned to "HAND" position
b. Sump pump switch not turned to
"AUTO" position

Turn switch to "ON" position.
a. Turn to "AUTO" position.
b. Turn to "AUTO" position.

Power not turned "ON" at breaker box

Turn "ON" power at breaker box.

Float on sump pump in down position

Add water to pump.

Debris in sump impeller

Unplug pump and remove from container.

Flow valve closed

Open valve.

Dirt lodged in control valve

Clean as needed.

Frozen water in lines or valves

Thaw out with warm water.

WATER FLOWING
OVER CLP

Tank not level

Level tank.

Water coming into the CLP faster than 5 -
30 gpm

Adjust fl ow control valve.

Discharge line plugged

Remove obstruction.

Pump not wired in

Wire in pump.
