2. Safety Information
The security information included in this chapter should be read carefully.
The user should check for compliance with security conditions set out in this Manual to ensure the safe use of the equipment.
In case of doubt, contact the Technical Assistance Service.
Safety information is related to both user protection and equipment protection.
Access to the equipment interior
Only authorised technical service may access the equipment interior to carry out maintenance and repair tasks other than the
routine replacement of expendable items.
Electrical connections
- Check that connection to the power system is 110 - 230 VAC, 50 -60 Hz.
- Only use the transformer supplied with the equipment. Plug Type C, Europlug.
- Supply voltage fluctuations should not exceed 10% of the rated voltage.
- Supported transitional overvoltage: The typical present in the power supply network (category II of the standard IEC
60634-4-443).
- The electrical plug should not be situated below the equipment.
- The electrical plug should be accessible in case of be necessary to disconnect the equipment quickly.
Explosive atmospheres
The equipment is not designed to work in explosive atmospheres.
Environmental pollution permitted
Pollution grade 1 (No environmental pollution or only dry pollution, not conductive).
Feed water and hydraulic connections
The feed water must comply with the specifications listed in this Manual.
Feeding poor quality water (turbidity and/or high hardness, inadequate conductivity, unwanted pollutants, etc.) can result in
deterioration of the equipment components or a lower performance.
Respect the pressure conditions established for the feed water to the equipment. High pressure can damage the hydraulic system.
In these cases, it is necessary to install a pressure regulator before the equipment.
A feed water pressure lower than the minimum required will cause poorer performance and improper functioning of some of the
system components.
Have a stopcock that is easily accessible when you need to cut the water supply to the equipment.
Locate the equipment so that the electric and hydraulic connections located on the rear of the equipment are not
adversely affected.
Prevent straining the power cable or hydraulic connections.
Consumables
Replace the consumables items in the times anticipated and based on the messages from your equipment.
Use only original expendable items. Using non original components may cause equipment damage and loss of guarantee.
To move the equipment, handle it by holding at the base.
