Wisotronic 2/3/4-channel 

Installation instructions

5.3  Procedure

Follow the points below in the order given:

 

 

First determine where the individual components are to be installed. Refer to 
the specifications in this chapter and in the sensor and switch actuator data 
sheets. 

 

 

Adhere to the maximum line lengths.

 

 

Do not use lines of a larger cross-section than specified.

 

 

Then determine which cables are required to connect the components with 
one another. Use the instructions given in 

Chapter 6 on page 34

.

 

 

Lay the required lines. Preferably use cable ducts to route the motor lines.

WARNING

 

 

Electrical operating equipment must be mounted for easy access 
(VDE0100).

 

 

Install and wire the individual components.

 

 

Check the wiring before switching on the power supply to the control.

 

 

Then commission the unit. Only then will the control be ready to use. The 
steps required for commissioning are explained in detail in these instructions.

 

 

Check the correct running direction of the sun shading products by operating 
the "Up" and "Down" buttons on the control.

 

 

Check that the connected sensors are functioning properly.

 

 Check that the readings displayed in the Start menu for the temperature 
and brightness are plausible.

 

 Check that the wind speed reading changes when the vane is turned.

 

 Check whether precipitation is detected (moisten the sensor surface with 
water).

 

 

Then adjust the functioning of the system to the ambient conditions and 
special requirements. Use the operating instructions as a guide as well.

 of these instructions contains a table with all avail-

able setup steps (parameters), their limit values and the factory settings.

 

 

If you change the factory settings, enter the new values of the unit into the 
table after completing the work.
