MAINTENANCE, CARE,
STORAGE
OIL LEVEL CHECK/OIL
CHANGE
Check the oil level in the
cleaner at regular
intervals. The casing has
to be removed in order
to check the oil level.
Change the oil in the
cleaner every 200
operating hours.
Oil grade: SAE 15-W 40
Capacity: see table in
„Specifications“
Maximum filling level:
Wap 1100/1100 W
Lower edge of the filler
plug bore when the
cleaner is in a horizontal
position.
Wap 2200-3300
Up to the middle of the
oil sight glass.
FROST PROTECTION
If the high-pressure
cleaner is stored in a
room is which tempera-
tures below freezing may
occur, anti-freeze must
be drawn in through the
pump before storage.
During the intake of the
anti-freeze, press the
trigger of the spray gun
2 to 3 times. In order to
rule out any risks, the
cleaner should preferably
be stored in a heated
room for some time
before putting it into
service again.
PUTTING INTO SERVICE
AFTER PROLONGED
STORAGE
If the high-pressure
cleaner is not used for a
prolonged period, scale
can settle in the pump,
with the result that the
cleaner can only be
started with difficulty, if
at all. We therefore
recommend that the
cleaner be connected to
a water supply and,
without inserting the
mains plug, be flushed
through thoroughly with
tap water. In order to
avoid electric overloads,
turn the motor shaft using
an Allen key (WAF 6):
(Wap 1100 W only)
•
Remove the casing
(Fig. H)
.
•
Insert the Allen key
through the middle
opening on the
blower cover into the
hex. socket in the end
of the motor shaft
and turn the shaft in
clockwise direction
several times
(Fig. K)
.
CAUTION!
Before putting the
cleaner back into
service and starting
the motor, be sure to
remove the Allen key
from the end of the
shaft.
•
Fit the casing again.
