5.5 Rotor Lock
WARNING!
Engage the rotor lock when the upper rotor
housing is open to prevent the rotor from moving
unintentionally. Failure to engage the rotor lock
when the upper rotor housing is open can result
in serious injury.

The rotor lock stops the rotor from turning when the upper rotor
housing is open. The rotor-lock pin cannot engage with the rotor
when the rotor housing is closed. The rotor lock is intended for
use during maintenance or service.

5.6 Chipper-Hopper Latch
The chipper-hopper latch holds the chipper hopper in the open
or closed (folded) position. The chipper hopper must be closed
for transport or storage.
