Input Arguments
Description
Example 1 (Force Mask has a value of 4): A value of 0
sets the output value of port X03 to 0. A value of 4 sets
the output value of port X03 to 1.
Example 2 (Force Mask has a value of 7): A value of 0
sets the output value of ports X01, X02 and X03 to 0.
A value of 5 sets the output value of port X02 to 0 and
the output value of ports X01 and X03 to 1.

Requirements
• You must have an OPC UA client.
• You must know the username and password, and this user must have permission to
execute methods.
• You must have already established a connection to the I/O module.
• You must have already enabled the Force function and know the Force ID.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. In the
Address Space
window, open the context menu:
Root > Objects > De-
viceSet > [module name] > Forcing > DisableForcing
.
2. In the context menu, select
Call
.

Call DisableForcing on Forcing
window appears.
3. Enter the
Force ID
.
4. Click
[Call]
.

If the method call was successful, then “0” appears under Status, the Force func-
tion is disabled, and the FLD LED on the module switches to the off state.
