DESCRIPTION
The double diaphragm pump is driven with compressed air. This compressed air moves the air piston in the air
motor (4), and consequently the piston rod in the pressure stage (9), up and down. At the end of each stroke the
compressed air is redirected by a reversing valve and the control piston. The up-and-down movement of the 2
diaphragms within the fl uid section is produced by hydraulic oil, which is moved by the piston in the pressure stage.
With every stroke of the piston rod, working material is sucked in and delivered to the spray gun at the same time.

AIR MOTOR (4)
The air motor with its pneumatic reverse (1) does not require pneumatic oil.
The compressed air is fed to the motor via the air pressure regulator (2) and the ball valve (3).
The air motor is fi tted with a safety valve. The safety valve has been set and sealed at the factory. In case
of pressures over and above the permissible operating pressure, the valve, which is held with a spring,
automatically opens and releases the excess pressure.
