8.6 Quiet Mode
You can turn on the quiet mode for a period of time (1-12 hours). During this period,
all tones (except paging tone) and call screening are muted.
When you turn on the quiet mode, the answering machine turns on automatically.
When the quiet mode duration expires, the answering machine remains on.
To set the duration and turn the quiet mode on:
Press and hold
#
on the handset in idle mode. The screen shows
Quiet:__ hours
(1-12)

Enter the desired duration (1-12), then press
MENU
/SELECT
. You hear a
confirmation tone. The handset displays
Ouiet mode on, ANS ON

To turn the quiet mode off:

on the handset in idle mode. The screen displays
Quiet mode
off
briefly and then returns to idle.
