5.2 Answer a Call
Using the home line:
To answer a home call at the handset:

or any dialing key.
To answer a home call at the telephone base:
Press or any dialing key.
Using the mobile line:
To answer a mobile call at the handset or telephone base:
Press
or any dialing key.
5.3 Adjust Earpiece and Speakerphone Volume
There are 6 levels (
VOLUME 1
to
VOLUME 6
) to choose from for each of the
earpiece and speakerphone volume.
To adjust the listening volume on the handset:
During a call, press
to select from
VOLUME 1
to
VOLUME 6
.
To adjust the listening volume on the telephone base:
During a call, tap
to select from
VOLUME 1
to
VOLUME 6
.
When the call ends, the setting will remain at the last selected level.
5.4 Mute a Call
You can mute the microphone so that you can talk to someone nearby, without
letting the caller hear you during a call.
To mute a call at the handset:
During a call, press
to mute the microphone. “
Muted
” will display on the
LCD display. Your caller cannot hear you.
Press
again to unmute the microphone and resume the conversation.
To mute a call at the telephone base:
During a call, tap
. The screen displays
Muted
until the mute function is
turned off.
Press
to unmute the microphone resume the conversation.
