8. PHONE SETTINGS

Your phone comes with a selection of settings that you can change to customize your

phone the way you like it to work.

8.1 Set Date and Time

You will need to set the correct time and date so that you know when you received

answering machine messages or caller list entries.

Press

MENU/

SELECT

and then

to select

Set date/time

Press

MENU

/SELECT

and then enter the month, date and year.

Press

MENU

/SELECT

and then enter the hour and minute. Scroll to select

Press

MENU

/SELECT

to save the settings and return to the previous menu. You

hear a confirmation tone.

8.2 Ringer Volume

Telephone base ringer volume:

Tap

in idle mode.

note

When you set the ringer volume to zero, the base ringer is off. The telephone base

announces, “

Base ringer is off.

” and displays

and

Handset ringer volume:

Mob. volume

and then

to sample each volume level.

to save the settings and return to the previous menu. You

The respective ringer melody will be played while you are scrolling through the

melody list.
