6.10    Set the Dial Mode

The telephone is preset to touch-tone dialing. If you have pulse service, you have to 

switch to pulse dialing before using the phone.

In idle mode, press

6.11    registration

Your handset and base station is pre-registered.
If for some reasons the handset is not registered to the base station, “

HS, see manual

” will be displayed on the handset screen; the headset LED turns 

purple and you hear the relevant voice message when pressing the 

tALK on 

button. 

Register your handset according to the following procedure.

6.11.1  register a Handset

Make sure the unregistered handset is not on the base or charger cradle.
Put the unregistered handset on the base, the screen shows “

registering... 

please wait

”. The   indicator on the base turns on. The registration process takes 

up to 90 seconds.
If the registration is successful , the handset screen shows “

HAnDSet X 

registered

” (

X

 stands for the handset number) briefly. The 

 indicator on the 

base turns off. The handset will return to idle mode. Repeat the steps above if the 

registration failed.

6.11.2  register a Headset

Before registration, make sure the unregistered headset has been charged for at 

least 15 minutes, and not placed on the charger cradle. 
Press and hold   on the base until the   indicator on the base turns on.
Press and hold the 

 and 

VoLUMe - 

on the headset at the same time 

until the LED on the headset flashes red and blue alternately. 

Put the headset near to the base.
If the registration is successful, the headset receiver will play a long beep, and the 

LED turns blue for few seconds.
