Withholding your number
As standard, your phone number is transmitted as part of
every call that you make and can be read by other mobile
phone users and certain landline phones. If you don’t
want your network to do this, you can withhold your
number.
Note: When you withhold your number and call a phone
capable of displaying incoming numbers, the fact that
you have withheld your number will be indicated to the
called party.
To set (or reset) number withholding:

See caller ID
– indicates the current caller ID setting,
•
Call incognito
– keeps your number private when
you dial,
•
See called party ID
– indicates the current setting
of the
Call incognito
option,
•
Called incognito
– prevents your phone passing on
a number to which it diverts calls,
•
Status check
– determines any current settings,

confirm and

to activate,
• Confirmation of the new setting will be received
from your network.
