To select (activate) a profile:
Before a profile can be used to make Internet connec-
tions, it must be made
active
. You can have more than
one stored profile, however, only one profile may be
active at any one time.

to select the required profile,

to confirm.
Now, either:
•
Activate [profile name]?
will be displayed if the
selected profile is locked (prefixed with a padlock
icon - meaning that the profile cannot be edited or
deleted) -

to confirm.
or
• The menu item
Activate profile
will be displayed for
an unlocked profile (one that can be edited or
deleted) -
c
to enter and then
c
once more to
confirm.
The activated profile will now be shown in the main
WAP
menu as the
Go to [profile name]
option and
will be used as the standard Internet connection.
To create a new profile:

to enter the menu,

Profiles

Add entry

to enter. Now choose:
Use predefined
to re-use an existing profile stored
in your phone – If you select this option, a list of
pre-configured profiles will be displayed.
To select
a profile:

to highlight the required item and
then

to activate the new profile.
or
Create new
to enter fresh profile details. You will
now be required to enter a series of settings
beginning with a Profile Name - refer to the
previous
Profile details
for descriptions of each
setting.
For each setting, use the keypad to enter the
required details. See
Entering profile information
that follows for tips on using the keypad.
5 When all of the necessary settings have been
entered, you will be prompted to Save changes? -
c
to confirm.
6 Once saved, you will then be prompted to
Activate [profile name]?

to confirm.
The new profile will now be shown in the main
WAP
menu as the
Go to [profile name]
option and will be
used as the standard Internet connection.
