Prescribed use
The device is intended for charging rechargeable NiCd or NiMH bat-
teries of type Mono (C), Baby (D), Mignon (AA) and Micro (AAA) as
well as 9-V block batteries, which are suitable for charging current,
specified in the technical data. Furthermore, via this device so-called
RAM cells can also be charged. As a voltage source you may only
use a supplied in the delivery power adapter (voltage supply of the
adapter is 230 V AC 50/60 Hz) or another proper adapter with an out-
put of 3 VDC/2.5 A. Do operate and store the device only in dry envi-
ronment; the contact with moisture has to be avoided.
Scope of delivery
The scope of the delivery includes the following: P200-LCD universal
charger for batteries, power adapter and operating instructions.
Any use other than the one described above, damages the
product. Moreover, this involves dangers, such as e. g.
short circuit, burns, electric shock, etc. No part of the pro-
duct may be modified or rebuilt and the housing must not
be opened!

• After the cells have been fully charged, the battery charger will
automatically switch to trickle charge. This will be indicated by the
green flashing of the status LEDs (2) which are over each shaft,
as well as by the "OK" indication on the display (4). The batteries
must not be removed from the device after the charging procedure
has been completed. The trickle charge function prevents overch-
arging of the batteries! The end of charging of 9V block batteries
is indicated by extinguishing of the status LED (7).
Maintenance and service
Before cleaning or servicing, unplug the battery charger and the po-
wer adapter from all electrical sources. For cleaning the exterior of
the product, use a soft and dry cloth only. Never use cleansing agents
or liquids for cleaning the device. Repairs or maintenance of the de-
vice may only be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar
with the relevant regulations (VDE 100, VDE 0701).
Disposal
Please dispose defective device according to the current regulations.
