Checking VAG 1551 programme card version:

- Press

key.

Indicated on display:

- Press keys 0 and 6. (The function "End output" is selected with 06.)

Indicated on display:

- Confirm entry with key Q.

Indicated on display:

- Switch off ignition.

- Disconnect scan tool VAG 1551.

After approx. 5 seconds:

- Connect cable VAG 1551/3 to diagnosis connector again.

The VAG 1551 display will display the version number, language variant and edition date for
approx. 3 seconds:

If the display of the VAG 1551 does not display programme card version /8.0:

- Obtain programme card version / 8.0 and insert into VAG 1551.
