4.
Basic operations
4.1.1.
Getting familiar with the telephone’s keypad
Please find below a quick description of the functions linked to each button:
Button
Description
0 - 9, *, #
Digit, star and ash keys are usually used to make phone calls
Sysinfo
Display basic information, including extension, IP address and gateway address. Keep the
button pressed to show the information, press it again to show the next one
OK
Enter (confirmation when browsing the telephone menu)
Exit
Cancel (cancel when browsing the telephone menu)
MENU
Access the menu when the telephone is in idle status
UP
Go to previous item in the menu. If the telephone is in idle state you can adjust the
handset/speakerphone volume
DOWN
Go to the next item in the menu. If the telephone is in idle state you can adjust the
handset/speakerphone volume
HOLD
Puts the current call on hold
TRANSFER
Transfer the active call to another number
REDIAL
Redials the last dialled number or starts a new call from the address book or from the call
list
SPEAKER
Enables speakerphone mode
DEL
When dialling this key deletes the last digit, a call list entry, memory key associations, etc.
CALL LIST
Shows the call list
REC
During a conversation by pressing this key you can start recording the call; to stop
