Solenoid Valves 

All solenoid valves are pilot operated with floating-type diaphragms. For satisfactory operation, make sure the 
manual opening stem is in the automatic position (stem is fully backseated or out). Correct direction of stem 
rotation is shown on the stem seal nut with an arrow, as shown in Figure 35.
