Press “A” to proceed to the Freeze time formula page, SETUP SCREEN 3. Here you will enter the

constants for T1; freeze times base on the suction temp, T1.

Press “B” to go back to the MAIN SETUP SCREEN.

Press “C” to turn AUTO-RESTART on & off. This feature allows the machine to restart after a

power failure has occurred. The amount of time delay before the machine restarts is set on the

MAIN SETUP SCREEN.

This screen is were the constants, m1 & b1 are entered for a given suction temp, T1. Freeze cycle

time will be determined using the linear equation y=mx+b.

For suction temp T1, Freeze Time = m1*(water temp) + b1

Note

: Constants m & b must be whole numbers. When creating a new curve using EXCEL,

multiply the calculated values by 1000. See example below.

A trendline is added to a graph of water temp vs. freeze cycle time and the equation placed on the

graph. From this we see that m=0.03 & b=2.9. Multiply each value by 1000. The values entered

into the interface are m1=30, b1=2900.
