CONF
-- Used to establish conference calls.
DND
(do not disturb) -- Prevents calls from ringing
at your station when you are on a call or busy. Also
used to activate a Page Block feature.
FLASH
-- Used to end an outside call and restore
dial tone without hanging up.
FWD
-- Allows you to forward your calls to another
destination.
HOLD
-- Enables you to place calls on hold and to
retrieve held calls.
ICM
-- Not used at this time.
MUTE
-- Allows you to switch the built-in
microphone on or off when using speakerphone,
or the handset microphone when using handset.
MSG
/
CALLBK
- Used for Auto-Callback to a phone
that left a text msg, or to acess voice messages.
PGM
-- Used as a rotary to select mode of
operation: Handsfree (LED not lit), Tone (LED lit
solid), or Privacy (LED blinking).
REDIAL
--
Used to dial last number dialed.
SAVE
-- Not used at this time.
SPEAKER
-- Used to make a call without lifting the
handset. Serves as an ON/OFF button.
SPEED
-- Provides access to Speed Dialing, Save
Number Redial, and Last Number Redial. Also
used to access flexible button programming.
TRANS
-- Used to transfer an intercom or outside
call from one station to another.
VOLUME
-- Allows you to adjust speakerphone
and handset volume.
CALL FORWARDING
1. Press the FWD button,
-or- dial feature code [640].
2. Dial the desired Call Forward code:
[6] = All Calls [7] = No Answer [8] = Busy
[9] = Busy/No Answer [ ] = Off-Net
3. Dial the station number where calls are to be
forwarded. Confirmation tone sounds.
4. Replace handset or press the SPEAKER button.
ESTABLISHING A CONFERENCE
Only those stations that have the Conference
feature enabled will be able to initiate a Conference.
1. Lift the handset.
2. Select intercom station or dial desired outside
party. When called party answers, press CONF.
3. Add the next conference party by selecting
another outside line or intercom station.
4. Press CONF again and repeat previous step in
a cycle, until all parties are contacted.
5. When last party answers, press CONF twice.
All parties are connected.
TERMINATING A CONFERENCE
If a Supervised Conference … the person that
initiated the conference can replace the handset
or press the SPEAKER button.
If an Unsupervised Conference … press the
flashing CONF button while on-hook.
LEAVING A MESSAGE WAITING INDICATION
If you dial a station that is busy, unattended, or in
DND, you can leave a message waiting indication.
1. Press the SPEAKER button.
2. Dial the desired intercom station. A busy tone
or DND tone is heard.
3. Press the MSG button. The called party’s MSG
button LED will flash slowly.
4. Press the SPEAKER button to end the call.
TRANSFER - Unscreened
1. Press TRANS and dial desired station number.
2. When the called extension begins to signal,
hang up to transfer the call.
3. Replace handset or press the SPEAKER button.
TRANSFER - Screened
While connected to an outside line:
1. Press the station button where the call is to be
transferred (if programmed on your phone),
-or- press TRANS and dial the station number.
(The called extension signals according to the
intercom signal switch position.)
2. When extension answers, announce transfer.
3. Hang up to complete transfer.
