Before Starting the Gas Drive
Make sure that the following has been completed before operating
the Gas Drive:
1) Check the compressor oil level and condition, (the compressor has
been filled to the correct level prior to shipping).
Note:
The oil is
clear and can be difficult to see in the sight glass.
2) Check the engine oil level and condition.
3) Inspect the engine and compressor air filter.
4) Check fuel level.
5) Do a final inspection to ensure that all fasteners and connections
are tight.
6) Check that all hoses and wiring are secure and adequately
protected.
7) Check for any fluid leaks around the unit.
8) Ensure the fuel switch is in the
“OPEN” position (Figure 16).

9) Ensure pneumatic equipment is securely connected and discharge
valve is closed.
10) The choke provides the proper fuel mixture when the engine is cold,
it is operated manually by pulling out or pushing in the knob. Pull the
choke out for cold starting. As the engine warms push the choke in.
If the system has been run, ensure the compressor
system has depressurized. The engine will not be able to
start if the system is still under pressure
