For children safety reasons do not leave poly-
ethylene bags, used as packaging, unat-

Danger of

Check the power cord, the power plug and the
unit body integrity periodically.
•
Never use the unit if the power cord or the
power plug is damaged, if the unit works
improperly or after it was dropped or in case
of any damages.
•
Do not attempt to repair the unit by yourself.
Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if
any malfunction is detected or after it was
dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any
authorized service center from the contact
address list given in the warranty certificate
and on the website www.vitek.ru.
•
Transport the unit in the original package only.
•
Keep the unit out of reach of children and dis-
abled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD
USAGE ONLY
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low
temperature keep it for at least three hours
at room temperature before switching on.
Note:
There may be water spots in the remov-
able water tank (13). This is normal, as the unit
has undergone factory quality control.

Unpack the coffee maker, remove any stick-
ers and package materials that can prevent
unit operation.
–
Check the unit for damages; do not use it in
case of damages.
–
Make sure that operating voltage of the unit
corresponds to the voltage of your mains.
–
Before using the coffee maker for the first
time wash all the removable parts, the filter
holder (5), the coffee filters (6), the removable
water tank (13) and the measuring spoon (18)
with warm water and a neutral detergent and
then dry them.
– Wash the filter and the cappuccinator pipe.
Note:
The coffee maker is supplied with two fil-
ters (6), namely: one filter is intended for making
one coffee cup - «
1– cup
», and the other filter
«
2– cup
» is intended for making two cups.

Make sure that the steam supply handle (14)
is set to the utmost right position and slightly
tightened.
•
Disconnect the removable water tank (13)
from the unit, open the lid (12) and fill the tank
(13) with cold water up to the maximal mark
«
MAX
». After that install the water tank (13)
back to its place.
•
Insert the selected coffee filter (6) into the fil-
ter holder (5), matching the ledge on the filter
(6) with the slot on the filter holder (5) and turn
the filter (6) in any direction.
•
Without adding coffee into the filter (6), attach
the filter holder (5) to the coffee maker boiler;
to do this, place the filter holder handle (3)
under the inscription «
INSERT
» (
Insert
) on
the coffee maker body, insert the holder (5)
into the boiler and turn the filter holder handle
(3) counterclockwise as far as it will go (in the
direction of the «
LOCK
» mark).
•
Place a suitable bowl (with a capacity of no
less than 250 ml) on the tray grid (2) and
under the cappuccinator pipe tip (17).
•
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
Press the button (9)
(if the button (9) indica-
tor doesn’t light up, turn the steam supply
control handle (14) to the utmost right posi-
tion and slightly tighten).
Switch the steam
supply on by turning the steam supply control
handle (14) counterclockwise. The pump will
start operating and water will start dispens-
ing. Pour some water out of the cappuccina-
tor pipe (17) and turn the steam supply handle
(14) clockwise as far as it will go, the water
dispensing will stop.
Note:
When the pump is operating, a loud sound
of the operating pump and noticeable vibration
of the coffee maker body is possible until the
pump is filled with water; this is normal.
•
Wait until the coffee maker boiler heats up.
During preliminary heating (about 2 minutes)
the button (9) indicator will be flashing; after
preliminary heating the indicator will light con-
stantly.
•
Press the button (8) and wait until water is
delivered from the outlet openings of the fil-
