PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Thank you for choosing the VDC1604 Vista Dome Controller. The VDC1604 is a small switching matrix designed to
control Domes and remote controlled cameras that respond to any one of the following RS485 twisted-pair telemetry
protocols: Vista PowerDome, Pelco D, Ultrak and VCL (note that dependant on the dome type, not all features may be
supported).
The system is capable of switching 16 video inputs to four video outputs and is controlled by a separate keyboard. Up to
four keyboards may be connected via BaxNet RS485 data bus.

• 16 Video Inputs (self-terminating, loop through)
• Four Video Outputs
• Twisted pair telemetry support for Dome cameras (for Baxall (Norbain), Pelco, Ultrak and VCL products)
• Four auxiliaries
• Up to 255 camera presets dependant on dome type (128 on the Vista PowerDome)
• Programmable camera view sequence (8 continuous and 8 one-shot sequences)
• Alarm output relay
