DEFINING A VIEW
A view is a combination of a camera and a preset position. When recalled, the camera that corresponds to the selected
view will automatically move to the preset position defined. Note that before a View can be defined, the preset must have
been programmed. Up to 64 Views can be defined using the Program View menu.
In this example a View is to be defined that will recall camera 3 to preset position 12. The View is to be named Front
entrance.
1. Enter the menu system. If you are in the Installer menu system, select the
Seq/View functions
from the main menu and then
Program View
from
the
Sequences and Views
menu. If you are in the User menu, select
Program View
from the main menu.
2. In the
View
field, use the number keys to enter a number for the view (1-
64).
3. Use the
Name Locn
field to enter a line number where the view title will be
displayed on the monitor (7, 8 or 9).
3. Move to the
Name
field and press the enter key. This will invoke the Text
edit screen. Use this screen as described on page 12 to define the name
Front entrance. Press enter to save the view name and return to the View
definition menu.
4. In the
Camera
field, use the number keys to enter 03 to select camera 3.
5. In the

DEFINING A PROGRAMMED SEQUENCE
A programmed sequence consists of up to 16 Views recalled in a predetermined order. Each View in the sequence has
a user-defined dwell period before the next View in the sequence is displayed. Up to 8 programmed sequences can be
defined. Note that before a programmed sequence can be defined, all the Views associated with it must be programmed.
By default, the Program Sequence menu contains the following parameters:
Step 1, View 1, Dwell 3 secs
Step 2, View 2, Dwell 3 secs
etc.
Step 16, View 16, Dwell 3 secs
Entering a value of 00 in a
View
field at any step in the sequence will end the sequence at that step.
In this example, a View sequence of four Views with the following parameters is to be defined:
