VDC1604 VISTA DOME CONTROLLER

ALARM HANDLING MENUS

<

day

- (MON, TUE, WED, etc) - the time frame will be active on the specified

day.

WDAY

 - time frame will be active for every week day.

WEND

 - time frame will be active for the weekend days (Saturday and Sunday).

EDAY

 - time frame will be active for all the days of the week and weekend.

ALARM LOG MENU

This information menu displays the occurrence of the last 50 alarm and videoloss

events  in  a  rolling  buffer.  Events  are  arranged  chronologically  with  the  most

recent events being at the end of the log.

Displays the number of the event

Type No.

Shows the type of event recorded

VL

 - Videoloss event

AL

 - Alarm event

CC

 - Configuration change event

PO

 - Power-on event

Time/Date

The time and date the alarm occurred
To view the entire event log, you may need to use the joystick up/down to select:

Up 

- moves up through the log a page at a time

Down 

- moves down through the log a page at a time

Prev

 - closes the log and returns to the previous menu.

After making a selection, press the enter key to perform the chosen action.

CONTROL ACCESS MENUS

The VDC1604 can have up to four keyboards connected to it. Each keyboard, by default, has the ability to control and

select monitors, cameras and PTZ units. It is possible to regulate the control access for each of these keyboards.  The

Control access menu allows the installer to set control options for each keyboard individually.

CONTROL ACCESS MENU

This is the top level menu for keyboard access.

Keyboard - Monitor

Opens the Keyboard to Monitor access menu

Keyboard - Camera

Opens the Keyboard to Camera access menu

Keyboard - PTZ

Opens the Keyboard to PTZ access menu

KEYBOARD TO MONITOR ACCESS MENU

Allows you to select which keyboards in the system can control the monitors

connected to the VDC1604.

Monitor

Use the number keys to select a monitor (1 to 4)

Access

Use the up/down joystick to select a keyboard/access field. Press enter then

use the up/down joystick to select 

Granted 

or 

Denied 

from the picklist.

Do this for each of the four monitors in the system.
