Protocol Telemetry Boards
The PowerDome PRO series of domes comes supplied as standard with 2 Telemetry protocol boards. These
two boards will allow the following common prot ocols to operate the domes:
1. RS485 Board
– Vista PD, Pelco D and Pelco P
2. COAX Board
– Vista Coax telemetry
Other additional boards are available to operate
– Pelco Coax, BBV Coax, AD Manchester and Philips
protocols, contact your sales representative for pricing and delivery details.
Fitting the Protocol Boards
The Protocol boards are attached to the Power Board situated in the top of the dome housing. To access the
Power Board, remove the dome module from the housing and loosen the screw holding the boa rd in place, it
will swing down as shown below:

The Telemetry board is located on the male
and female 8 pin connectors on the board.
Care must be taken to ensure that the board
pins are correctly located. Please refer to
following section.
