Menu Operation
Operation Instruction
The following instructions are written with the assumption that the unit is being controlled via a Vista
VKBD4 keyboard controller. The commands may vary if another manufacturer’s control system is being
used.
Accessing the Unit Menu
To access the menu structure of the Vista Integrated Positioning Unit send the VPP menu command,
from a VKBD4 keyboard this is press and hold the Camera key, while holding the camera key press and
release the Mode key.
Menu Cursor Positioning
1. Move the joystick up or down to position the cursor beside the preferred item.
2. Then move it to the right, to enter that sub menu
3. To leave a sub menu move the joystick to the left
Editing the titles
Up to 16 characters can be used for a title. The following characters are available:
1.

A-Z (upper case)
2. a-z (lower case)
3. Symbol (+ - ( ) % # ! $ / )
4. 0-9 (numeric)
5. Extra Symbols (á,í,ó,w,é)
NOTE:
1. If you want to change the characters, rotate the joystick clockwise or anticlockwise and hold it for two
seconds.
2. If you want to scroll to the next group of characters, move the joystick to the left until the symbol
appears, and then move the joystick up or down to select.
TIP:
To clear a character: Switch the character selection to
―Symbol‖, and then move to the character
you want to delete, finally move the joystick up or down to select the Blank Space character. Move
the joystick to the right.
