4.6 Cleaning the outlets
This type of dosing station requires some dismantling when cleaning with high viscose
products. During this activity attention must be paid to the chemical properties and
chemical reactions of the products. Please contact the manufacturer of your mix product.
Tip: In certain cases, rinsing the dosing station may be easier than dismantling and
cleaning the components.
• Set the dosing station to manual mode and secure against unauthorized operation.
• Loosen the static mixing pipe from the dosing mixing head and dispose of in accordance
with the manufacturer instructions.
• Clean the connection thread/bayonet catch and holes. Ensure that the two components
are not mixed.
• Hold the mixing head with the outlet pointing downwards and clean the holes (outlets)
individually.
Outlets
They are accessible when the static mixing pipe (24) is removed.
• Catch any product leakage and clean the mixing head again. Ensure
that the two components are not mixed. Use separate cloths.
• Protect the connection threads and outlets of the product against
drying out and soiling where necessary e.g. with a cap and/or by
applying lubricant * on the relevant areas. Follow the product manufacturer
instructions).
