Engine Compartment Disassembly

Disconnect battery.
Remove battery (retain).
Drain radiator.
Remove radiator (retain).
Remove the OEM heater hoses (discard).
NOTE: Before starting the installation, check the function of the vehicle (horn, lights, etc.) for proper
operation, and study the instructions, illustrations, & diagrams.
Perform the Following:

Condenser Assembly and Installation

Binary switch installation (Refer to condenser instructions).
Compressor and Brackets

Refer to separate instructions included with the bracket kit to install the compressor bracket.

Remove the glove box (retain) (See Figure 1, below).
Remove the center console (if equipped).
Remove the heater assembly and all related ducting (discard, but retain screws) (See Figure 2, below).
Remove OEM control panel assembly (retain) (See Figure 1, below).
NOTE: Refer to control panel
conversion kit instructions for installation of controls.
Remove the radio (retain) (See Figure 1, below).
Remove the OEM defrost ducts (discard) (See Figure 2, below).
Remove the dash brace (discard) (See Figure 2, below).
Perform the Following:
