• ADJUSTMENT RANGE.
Used to set the maximum temperature range in which the user
can make the adjustment away from the set point .
From the
CnF
menu, press the
key until the range is dis-
played (
C3.0 °C
blinking); then, using the “
–
” “
+
” keys, set the
required value .
Example.
By setting the room temperature to 20 °C and the adjustment
range to 3 °C, the user can adjust the temperature only between
17 °C and 23 °C .
• TEMPERATURE DIFFERENTIAL.
Used to set the value of the temperature differential .
The
temperature differential
is the difference between the set
temperature and the actual temperature of switching the system
on or off . Adjusting the temperature differential to the type of
system avoids continual switching on and off; high-inertia sys-
tems (for example systems with cast-iron radiators) need a low
temperature differential, while low-inertia systems (for example fan
heaters) need a high one .
Example.
By setting the room temperature to 20 °C and the temperature
differential to 0 .3 °C, the system will switch on when the room
temperature falls to 19 .7 °C and it will switch off when it reaches
20 .3 °C .
