Removing Memory
1. To remove a DIMM, follow these steps:
2. Observe the precautions in “Upgrading and ESD precautions”.
3. Turn off all peripheral devices connected to the computer. Turn off the computer.
4. Remove the computer cover.
5. Gently spread the retaining clips at each end of the socket. The DIMM pops out
of the socket. Hold the DIMM by the edges, lift it away from the socket, and store
it in an antistatic package.
6. Reinstall and reconnect any parts you removed or disconnected to reach the
DIMM sockets.

PCI Slots
There are two 32-bit PCI slots on this motherboard. The slots support PCI cards
such as a LAN card, SCSI card, USB card, and other cards that comply with PCI
specifications.
