The VdTÜV datasheetĂ1466 advises
that other oxygen binders are
offered as chemical additives, which
may contain the following active
agents:
H Ascorbic acid
H Carbohydracide
H Diethyl-hydroxylamine (DEHA)
H Hydroquinone
H Methyl ethyl ketone (MEk)
H Tannins
These must be used with care
however, as they can give rise to
oxidation, cleavage and transformation
products under boiler operating
conditions.
