Step 4:
◼
Ensure the black PTO protection cover cone is mounted to the gearbox with four bolts.
Grease the rotor shaft for the first time.
Ad grease on both bearing block nipples at both endpoints of the rotor shaft. Always ensure
the rotor shaft bearings are well lubricated.
Step 5:
◼
Ensure the drive belt tension is correct.
Step 6:
◼
Ensure the gearbox is filled with oil.
Step 7:
◼
Attach the PTO shaft to the implement, the shear bolt at the implement side.
◼
Always keep the PTO shaft as straight as possible. Your PTO shaft will be more efficient and
have a longer life if you use it straightforwardly. An angle smaller than 15 degrees is
acceptable.
◼
After mounting, keep the flail mower as close to the tractor as possible; the shaft must not get
stuck.
Step 8:
◼
Check that all fasteners are tightened correctly, and all securing pins are in place.
Hinged rear gate
The hinged rear gate allows easier cleaning, flail replacement, and easy general maintenance.
The closed gate provides additional mulching, and the open gate allows for a more straightforward
disposal of the mowed material.
