ViconNet JUMP/ZONE NVR
Quick Guide

This manual provides a quick overview for the configuration and operation
of the ViconNet JUMP and ZONE NVRs.

ViconNet JUMP and ZONE offer all the performance and features of the
open platform enterprise-scale software, limited to a single NVR system,
JUMP supporting up to 6 cameras and ZONE supporting up to 16 or 24
cameras. It is available as software only, downloaded from Vicon’s
website, or preloaded on an NVR.

ViconNet software provides outstanding functionality and an intuitive
interface for administrators, security managers and system operators
anywhere on the network. ViconNet JUMP and ZONE easily integrates
with third party access control software. They can be used in conjunction
with Vicon’s Virtual Matrix Display Controller (VMDC) and are compatible
with other workstations and NVRs.

The VN-NVR-JUMP (hardware sold by Vicon) is not intended for local
display. It can be used with the free VN-VIEWER/ViconNet Web Viewer or
a Workstation to view local video (refer to

Using the Web Viewer

at the

end of this manual). The VN-NVR-ZONE NVR series is available with
various options for storage in desk-top or rack-mount versions.
