Unit Components
This section describes the Kollector Network Server unit's front and rear panels.
Front Panel Controls and Connections
The following picture shows the Kollector Network Server
front panel. Each panel component is described in
the table below.

The Kollector Network Server's front panel contains the following components:
•
Power Switch:
Used to power on the recorder.
•
Power LED Indicators:
Used to display the power status (ON means recorder on and OFF means
recorder off).
•
Floppy Drive:
Used as a removable data drive.
•
CD Drive:
Used as a high-capacity removable data drive.
•
LED Viewing Window:
Used to view the status of the Power LEDs without opening the Kollector Network
Server's front door.
•
Front Door:
Used to protect the
Kollector Network Server's front panel
from unauthorized use.
•
Keylock:
Used with the provided key to lock the front door.
•
HDD LED:
Yellow LED, blinks when disk is in use.
•
Removable Filter Enclosure:
(See Maintenance Section).
