High Current Open Collector outputs
Discrete outputs 7 and 8 (7=test aborted, 8=test active) have jumpers on the circuit board which allow
them to be changed to open collector outputs which can sink high currents (up to 1.5A). When
configured in this way the outputs are inverted, so they sink the output to ground when active
To configure discrete output 7 for high current open collector outputs, set the HDR12 jumpers to A1-A2
and B1-B2.
To configure discrete output 8 for high current open collector outputs, set the HDR13 jumpers to A1-A2
and B1-B2.
To configure discrete output 7 as a TTL output, set the HDR12 jumpers to A1-B1 and A2-B2.
To configure discrete output 8 as a TTL output, set the HDR13 jumpers to A1-B1 and A2-B2.
Open Collector Output Specifications
Output "HIGH" (active):
Sink up to 1.5 amps to ground
Output "LOW" (inactive):
Floating output, voltage must be between ground and 70 VDC
