Saving current calibration information prior to re-calibrating – Open the
Calibration tab from the Configuration menu.  Right click the "Next" button to
get to the end of the calibration procedure and select "Report".  Use this
information to compare to the results of the re-calibration.

Sine

·

To get large display of Frequency, select "Sine Big Display" from the "View"
menu, or use Ctrl+B.  The sweep can be controlled by using the Left and
Right mouse buttons by clicking on the Frequency value in the Big Display
(make sure the "Enable Manual Controls" box is checked).  Hint: Be aware
that the scroll wheel on the mouse increases or decreases the dB level of the
test when the manual controls are enabled.

Random

·

To view only the portion of the data that is controlled, "Edit Graph" and select
the box next to "Show Only Active Lines".

·

When generating random profiles from recorded data, the high Hz content
that drops off and has no significant levels can be edited out by selecting the
last significant Hz in the table and clicking "Last".

Shock

·

FDR

·

When running tests close to the limits of the shaker, set the "Startup Rate"
and "Abort Rate" values in the "Parameters" tab of "Settings" to lower values
(5 to 10 dB/sec) to help prevent over-travel.

Recorder

·

To view the recorder buttons, select "Recorder Buttons" from the "View"
menu.

To select the directory for the recording, sample rate, and channels to record,
left click on
