3 Utilities

OneExpert DSL User's Guide

NOTE:
You must be running an active test or the Save Reports icon

will be disabled (gray).

What’s new?

When generating reports, the following features are now available:

• Custom report fields

– You can now select, and then specify values for up to ten

custom report fields. You can also setup your instrument to require users to specify

values for the custom fields.

• Import and add work order information

– You can now import work orders and

easily add work order information to OneCheck reports.

• Add geo location information

– You can now add geo location information to your

reports when your OneExpert is connected to the Mobile Tech app.

• New JSON and XML report formats

– The following tests support the new VIAVI

Common Data Model (CDM) format:

– OneCheck (Copper, Fiber, DSL, Ethernet)
– Ethernet
– DSL and DSL bonded

Generating reports

The Save Report icon (provided on the Tray menu) allows you to create reports based on the

configuration settings and test results for the currently active test.

• Save Profiles Packages to USB

– Saves all OneCheck DSL, Fiber, Copper, and

Ethenet profiles in one package to a USB drive. This package can be added to

StrataSync using the Add Firmware button.

• Load Profiles Package from USB

– Loads the selected packages from the USB

drive. The profiles will be preserved on the ONX unless there is a naming collision

and they are overwritten.

• Restore to Defaults

– Restores default profiles for the selected category

(Copper /DSL / Fiber/ Ethernet), removing non-default profiles. This feature

is not the same as Restore Factory Defaults. It does not globally affect other

configurations.
