6     Initial Operation

 

 

 

 

 

For selecting the ‘main menu’ press ENTER. 

 

For navigation in ‘main menu’ and submenus use the UP and 
DOWN. 
To enter the chosen submenu press ENTER again.

set unit to remote/local operation, 
move cursor to left

set unit ON/OFF,

10 base panel terminal

 

standard RJ-45 connector, use CAT5e patch cable

 

For leaving any menu item 

move the cursor to ‘exit’ and press ENTER. 

 

For changing values or shifting the cursor use buttons UP, DOWN and RIGHT, LEFT. 

 

Power the system

 

 

Switch on main switch or connect power plug à system remains in standby mode 

 

 

Switching ON the system

 

 

Press button RIGHT 

to enter the ‘System ON/OFF’ menu 

 

Move in me

nu to ‘system on’ by button DOWN and press button ENTER to start lamp operation 

 

à  The UV lamps will be operated with its nominal operation 

parameter. System status indication: 

 frontend à LCD message 

‘system on’ and ‘all lamps on’  

 base unit à 

LEDs ‘lamp A, B, C’ are on 

 

 

Switching OFF the system

 

 

Press button RIGHT 

to enter the ‘System ON/OFF’ menu 

 

Move to ‘system off’ by button DOWN and press button ENTER to stop lamp operation 

 

à  The UV lamps will be stopped after the shutdown delay is expired. (factory default 30 

sec.) System status indication: 

frontend à LCD message 

‘system off’ and ‘all lamps off’ base 

unit à no lamp LED is on 

Please note:

 

If system was switched off by main switch and then is switched on again, the system will go back to the 
previous state.
