41 Air cleaner replacement

• The air cleaner is to be replaced as a unit.

• Loosen the 2 plastic cable ties securing

the cleaner housing and loosen the

hose clamp at the air intake.

• Install a new air cleaner and tighten the

clamp and the cable ties again.

Warning!

Never clean the air cleaner with petrol

(gasoline) or hot fluids.

42 Check flexible engine mounts

Check the bolts which secure the damper

element, the mounting bolts to engine bed

and the nuts at the adjustment spindle for

tightness.

Also check the deflection of the damper

element, the deflection influences the

alignment of engine and propshaft! Re-

align engine in case of doubt.

43 Inspection hose connections

• Inspect all hose connections of the

coolingsystem. (Cracked hoses, loose

hose clamps)

4 Maintenance

Combustion air intake, Flexible engine mounts, Hose connections

Every 1000 operating hours.
