Task: A short circuit in a floor heating cable needs to be traced.

CTT33:

Connect transmitter between the

shorted

wires of the cable (in the below figure L and N). Leave

the third wire unconnected.

CL43:

Use LA43 probe. At fault spot signal gets stronger and then quickly weakens or disappears.
