Special Settings
1.
SPECIAL SETTINGS menu gives access to the technical features of the Dome (See Fig 63).
2.
From the SPECIAL SETTINGS menu the following features can be adjusted (See Fig 64):
a.
POWER FAIL: toggles between P/T/JOY, P/T and OFF and controls what type of action is
stored when the Dome is powered down. P/T/JOY means that the Dome will return to a
position, tour or joystick position; P/T will return to a tour or a position; and OFF executes no
power fail action.
b.
HOST POLLING: toggles between ON and OFF. This is used for some control panels that
require a heartbeat.
c.
TIMEOUT TIME: (See Fig 65 & 66, page 36).
d.
TIMEOUT ACTION: (See Fig 67 & 68, page 36).
e.
CLEAR MEMORY ERRORS: checks and repairs any errors in the memory
f.
RUN MEMORY TEST: tests the validity of the Dome’s memory
g.
RELOAD FACTORY DEFAULTS: resets the Dome to its default settings.
h.
RESET HEAD: power cycles the Dome
i.
HOME SERVOS: homes the Dome to its closest calibration point
j.
SOFTWARE VERSION: displays information about the Dome’s software
