Installing the Battery Cabinet

1.

Before installation, inspect the appearance and accessories of the battery, and cabinet and if there are
any signs of damage, contact Vertiv Services at 800-543-2378.

2.

Maintain at least 10mm clearances between the front, rear, side panels of the battery and the wall or
adjacent equipment to keep well-ventilated.

3.

Maintain some clearances between the top of the battery and the upper baffle to facilitate monitoring and
maintenance of the battery.

4.

Install the batteries from the bottom to the top to minimize any tipping hazard. Place the battery well to
avoid shake and impact.
