1.3 Provisioning a Management IP port
This section describes how to use CLI commands or Web GUI to provision an IP port for the VX-
MD4024. Referring to the previous section, use a console cable to connect a host PC and the VX-
MD4024 through its console port (COM). Then on PC run the terminal program with the setting
shown below:
In the PC terminal screen, type in the login user name and password to login into the system.
Type the following CLI command to check current IP setting of all the management ports.
enable /
