Application

The machine is exclusively intended for cutting decorative
lawn, i. e. lawn edges. Any other use or use going beyond
that, such as the cutting of brushwood and hedges or large
areas of lawn, is considered improper use. The manufacturer
/ supplier is not liable for damages resulting from such
use. The risk is borne by the user alone. A proper utilisation
also includes the observance of the operating manual and
the compliance with the conditions of control and
maintenance.
Keep the operating manual always at hand near the place
the machine is used!

Residual risks

Even if the device is used properly, a residual risk that cannot
be eliminated persists. Due to the type and design of the
device, the following potential dangers may result:
- Contact with the unprotected part of the thread cutting

equipment (cutting injury)

- Contact with cutting thread while in operation (cutting)

Contact with ejecting parts of the cutting thread, cut
material, and other materials (cutting injury, blunt injury)

- Loss of hearing if required ear protection is not used while

working (hearing loss)

- Contact with electric current due to a defective or cut

supply cable (electric shock)

- Harmful emissions of cut material and cut particles.

If you do not observe the instructions contained in the
instruction manual, other residual risks may result due to
improper use.
The product is intended for persons who are 14 years old
and up. If the product is used by children who are 8 years
old and up or by persons with limited physical, sensory, or
mental capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge,
then they must be supervised or informed regarding how
to use the device safely and to understand the resulting
dangers that are involved. Children are not permitted to
play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance may not
be completed by children without supervision.
Children should be supervised so that they do not play with
the device.
However, some residual risks remain despite the specific
safety measures, safety instructions, and additional safety
regulations indicated in the operating manual, e. g.
commissioning the product unintentionally. If you do not
observe the instructions contained in the instruction manual,
