8.0 SDH/PDH Alarms

Accessing Alarm Generation and Error Insertion

Tap on Home (main menu)

>Advanced Mode> Alarm/Error

The alarm and error functions are used in conjunction with the drop-down menu which has dedicated buttons for error

injection and alarm generation. Alarm and error selections will depend on PDH, SDH, or OTN signal types.

Continuous:

Generates a continuous alarm when button is tapped

Count:

Specific count for 0.1s, 1s, 10s, 100s when button is tapped
